Job Title

Serves as a revenue-generating sales professional responsible for growing merchant services through independent prospecting, consultative selling, and client relationship management. Exercises discretion in identifying opportunities, structuring solutions, and negotiating terms to maximize sales performance. Directly accountable for achieving and exceeding individual sales targets through self-directed business development activities. Regularly and customarily spends at least 50% of the time in the field meeting with merchants at their preferred locations conducting face-to-face sales activities including prospecting, consulting and signing new business.

Proactively identifies, prioritizes, and pursues new business opportunities through self-generated leads, referrals, and market analysis. Independently determines sales approach, pricing positioning (within guidelines), and product solutions based on client needs. Exercises judgment in evaluating prospects, overcoming objections, and closing sales to meet or exceed quota.

Acts as a trusted advisor to business owners by independently analyzing current processing statements and operational needs. Structures and recommends customized merchant service solutions, including pricing, equipment, and service configurations. Makes real-time decisions regarding proposals and deal structuring to align customer needs with company objectives.

Maintains full ownership of the sales cycle from qualification through contract completion. Independently completes applications, ensures accuracy of rates and terms, and facilitates approvals. Exercises discretion in managing deal timelines and resolving issues that may impact closing.

Coordinates and, when needed, personally facilitates installation and setup of equipment. Makes on-site decisions to ensure successful implementation, addressing technical or operational challenges without requiring direct oversight.

Independently manages client relationships post-sale to drive retention, satisfaction, and additional revenue opportunities. Resolves customer concerns, balancing client needs with company policies while exercising sound judgment.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in outside sales or in the sales field

Basic Qualifications:

Valid driver's license and auto insurance must be maintained

Reliable transportation

Basic computer skills
