Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – Long-Term Care Pharmacy

Locations: Powell, TN | Maryville, TN | Oak Ridge, TN | Townsend, TN

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience

Certification Required

Applicants must hold an active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) and meet all Tennessee registration requirements. Uncertified candidates will not be considered.

We are seeking detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technicians to support our long-term care pharmacy operations through prescription order entry, medication fulfillment, and communication with healthcare providers and partner communities.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare medications and healthcare products for daily fulfillment
• Communicate with providers, nursing staff, and partnering communities regarding resident prescription needs
• Monitor medication inventory, storage, and supply levels
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner communities
• Support a collaborative, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required
• Must meet all Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration requirements
• Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
