Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient-centered care, educates patients and families on illness management, and participates in activities enhancing safety, quality, and compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring clear communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors. Adheres to safety protocols as this is a safety-sensitive position. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing and RN licensure. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and at least 2 years of experience. No prior experience or supervisory experience is necessary. Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient education skills are essential. Additional Information: Role involves night shifts with modified self-scheduling in 6-week periods.
