Part-Time Dishwasher

Wallkill Golf Club, located in Middletown, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Dishwasher! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay Range: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour. Gratuities included when working banquet events.

Summary

The dish and general utility position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for china, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.

Position Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine
• Sort and stack clean dishes
• Change dishwater in dish machine every hour
• Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
• Set up or break down dishwashing area
• Clean and roll/unroll mats
• Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions
• Sweep and mop floors
• Sweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpster
• Conduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directed
• Wipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry
• Maintain full compliance with Department of Health regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
