Graduate Petroleum Engineer – Houston Our Houston office is looking for a Graduate Petroleum Engineer to join the Oil & Gas Technical Team (A&D). The position will be part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of petroleum engineering, geoscience, and GIS expertise. Qualifications Education: Engineering degree required; Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering preferred; Petroleum, Mechanical, or Electrical may be considered. Academic Achievement: Superior academic performance (>3.6 GPA on a 4.0 scale). Experience: 1-2 years relevant work experience preferred (Reservoir/Petroleum Engineer). Required Skills and Abilities: Strong quantitative and analytical skills; advanced oral and written communication skills; ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team; strong attention to detail and ability to work in high-pressure settings with tight deadlines; advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; software coding experience (VBA Macro Development, Python or SQL); basic understanding of database design and functionality (Microsoft Access). Preferred Skills: Decline Curve Analysis, SEC Reserve Definitions; experience with Enverus (DrillingInfo), Enerdeq, ARIES, PHDWin, Tableau, Spotfire; basic understanding of Petroleum Geology.
