Hiring lead line cook - 2 year experience in professional kitchen required. Must be able to start from either frying, grill, or sautee station. We are a full service restaurant. For FT staff we do have health insurance benefit. With room for growth - in 8 month we will need to identify a sous chef, will prefer to promote from inside of our team. Position open now: Line Cook : you will start from one of the following station - Sautee, Grill, Frying, or noodle station We are: - Chef-driven restaurant, menu change / rotate weekly, consciously source all the ingredients, obsessed with fermentations and pickling. - we are a women immigrant-led business. Work hours - WED-SAT. FT 2:30 pm~10:30pm. PT 4:00~10:30pm (extra prep hours during the morning is also available if more hour needed) 1. food prep before the service hours - basic prepping speed required. 2. line cook during the service hours - you MUST be able to jump in immediately for frying or grill or saut station. 3. will perform regular kitchen maintenance tasks including: cleaning and close down kitchen stations after shift, receiving ingredients, inventory receiving and storing....etc 4. This position work with our executive chef or sous chef directly 5. Growth opportunity - we are also hiring a sous chef beginning of late-2026. potentially we will promote someone from the existing team.
About you: 1. minimum 2 year of professional kitchen experience. 2. Must be able to pickup Either grill station or sautee station to start with. 3. Your prior experience of chef-driven or fine dining restaurant is preferred. 4. You love to create beautiful dishes and care about presentations. 5. Enjoy occasionally having daily limited special menu items and love this kind of challenges. 6. enjoy work in open kitchen 7. you value food craft, you value cooking food to create good memories for customers, you value work ethic, you value team work, you want to cook in a restaurant where dinning community cares a lot. 8. passionate to learn new stuff especially trendy asian small plates with fermentation and pickling technique and want to grow your career in this industry. 9. respect kitchen protocol, work clean, with good work ethic
