The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Driving profitable sales for the C&I business in the assigned territory. Developing, implementing, and executing effective territory business plans. Prioritizing your end customers, markets, and distributors to drive effective territory management. Implementing promotions, and directives as set by division management. Collaborating across other C&I territories and within other 3M EMD Divisions to meet customer needs. Company Vehicle This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position. Your Skills And Expertise Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND three (3) years direct sales and/or electrical construction/industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Associate's degree (completed and verified prior to start) and five (5) years of electrical industry sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment. Current, valid driver’s license. Sales experience in the Electric C&I Market. Strong negotiation and relationship building skills. Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications.. Field/Channel sales experience. Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels. Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within assigned territory. Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization. Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com. Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Strong team player, ability to work effectively with peers. Applicable to US Applicants Only The expected compensation range for this position is $113,752 - $139,031, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
