The typical schedule is 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. We also have a rotating on-call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.As a Maintenance Technician, you execute a wide range of routine and preventative tasks involved with basic property maintenance such as interior and exterior painting, replacing lightbulbs, checking emergency lighting, and replacing filters. You also quickly respond to resident requests to repair entry gates/doors, sheetrock, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.As you complete property maintenance, you always provide exceptional customer service. And you take pride in preparing apartments for new tenants. Each shift brings a combination of daily checklists, occasional tasks, and unexpected surprises. You love that you are never bored! The noise level in the work environment can be loud.This is a full-time position, 40 hours or more per week. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Required Education and Experience:General maintenance in a property management environment2+ years of basic property/general facility maintenance experiencePreferred Education and Experience:Painting experienceEPA Universal certification (preferred but not necessary)Additional Eligibility Qualifications:Must have a satisfactory background check and drug screenMust possess a valid Driver's License and proof of insuranceMust have a Truck or SUV vehicleMust have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checkFamiliarity with maintenance tools and equipmentWork with minimal supervisionDeadline and detailed orientedAbility to deal well with peopleMust have own tools and reliable transportationHave strong knowledge in all areas of property maintenance including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and pool maintenance.Physical Requirements:This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping crouching, squatting, crawling, climbing, and going up and down stairs all day.Regularly required to talk and hear.Able to read, write, and speak English.Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Must be able to lift and/or move items up to 80 pounds without assistance.Are you ready to join our team?
