Job Description Job Description Job Title: HR Benefits Specialist (Contract) Location: Tacoma, WA Duration: 3-Month Contract Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00/hour (depending on experience) We are seeking an experienced HR Benefits Specialist for a 3-month contract opportunity in Tacoma, WA. This role will support day-to-day benefits administration, assist with employee inquiries, and ensure accurate processing of benefit-related transactions. Key Responsibilities: Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and leave programs Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS systems Support open enrollment activities and communications Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to ensure accurate deductions and reporting Maintain compliance with federal, state, and company policies (e.g., ACA, COBRA, FMLA) Work closely with vendors and carriers to resolve discrepancies and manage escalations Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation Qualifications: 2+ years of HR or benefits administration experience Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, UKG, or similar) Excellent communication and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills preferred Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour Search managed by: Gerald Morales Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
