Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a travel Physical Therapist role in Dallas, TX working in Home Health where you'll help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment. Master's degree minimum educational requirement as listed by the client. Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Home health experience; client prefers at least 2 years of home health experience. Experience with HCHB electronic documentation system required. Experience supervising PTAs is required. Ability to meet productivity expectations: approximately 30 points per week, including OASIS and treatment visits. Documentation completed within 24 hours of visits. Ability to attend weekly case conference on Thursdays at 9:00 AM. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between patient visits; mileage reimbursement provided between visits from first patient to last patient. Preferred Qualifications Experience in high-volume agencies and working with high-acuity patients. Assignment Details Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Evenings. Shift Hours: Evenings. Weekly Hour Guarantee: 32 hours per week. Productivity Expectation: 30 points per week. Coverage Area: Dallas service area; travel between patient homes required. Weekend Requirement: One weekend per month on call/coverage. Clinical Duties: Responsible for OASIS assessments, treatment visits, and supervision of PTAs.
