Position Overview:
Join our team in Tucson, AZ as a Benefits and Eligibility Specialist. This onsite position offers an 8-week assignment with the potential for full-time conversion. In this role, you will review applications for public assistance programs, determine eligibility, and ensure documentation accuracy. Strong communication skills are essential for addressing customer concerns and explaining policies to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify applications for public assistance programs
• Conduct interviews to determine program eligibility
• Provide guidance to applicants and answer inquiries
• Explain policies and procedures to claimants, employers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records of actions taken
• Participate in occasional meetings or training sessions

Requirements:

• 2+ years of customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work onsite in Tucson, AZ with reliable transportation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in benefits administration or eligibility determination
• Proficiency in data entry and handling confidential information
• Adaptability to changing processes
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
