Job Title: Forklift Operator/Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator and Material Handler to support operations on the Front Dock, Automated Packaging Line, and in the Warehouse. This role involves assisting with dock inspections, unloading trucks, materials handling, and operating forklifts. The ideal candidate will also contribute to the efficient operation of packaging machines and aid in warehouse inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dock inspections and offloading/unloading trucks.
• Palletizing and housekeeping duties on the Front Dock.
• Operate forklifts for warehouse movement.
• Utilize Human Machine Indicator knowledge for packaging line operations.
• Set up IBP and assist with filling, labeling products, and depal/bottle preparation.
• Engage in re-work projects and manage inventory.

Essential Skills

• At least 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• 1 year of experience in material handling, including heavy lifting.
• 1 year of experience in forklift operation, including sit-down and propane forklifts.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, scanners, labelers, and inventory control systems.
• Knowledge of inspection, material handling, labeling software, and palletizing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hazmat training is strongly preferred.
• OSHA-compliant footwear (6-inch boots) required.
• Full PEP, hard hat, mask, and eye protection will be provided.
• No torn or ripped clothing is allowed.

Work Environment

Work in a large warehouse located next to the water, which can vary in temperature from cold to warm. Safety equipment such as hard hats, masks, and eye protection are provided, and appropriate attire is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
