They ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of equipment and facilities, directly impacting member experience and operational success. You'll handle preventive maintenance, perform repairs on fitness equipment, and collaborate with your facilities team and across departments.Proactively seek opportunities for development by completing all training materials and implementing feedback from leadership coachingEstablish and maintain cross-departmental communication to remain up-to-date on repair and replacement needs in customer-facing spaces and facility infrastructureWork within a CMMS to run reports, monitor and complete work orders, and receive service requests for in-house duties and outsourced contractor servicesPerform preventive maintenance and identify service needs, ensuring work is performed promptly and prioritizing the most critical repairs to minimize member experience disruptions when possibleMaintain knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical, Lighting and Plumbing systemsTravel within the market to participate in group training sessions, routine department meetings, and provide support to clubs beyond the home club, as neededComplete administrative tasks promptly, including email management and communication and assist in maintaining inventory counts as neededUtilize Building Management System (BMS)/Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) control systems to review property operations and identify the needs of the facilityOversee the outsourcing process of more complex projects by reviewing pricing and approving work completed by contractorsYour Perks:Free Chuze Fitness membershipAccrued time off and paid holidays401kMedical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurance (with large employer contribution) Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributionsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Discounts on all Chuze retail and Chuze Blends purchasesChuzer Referral Incentive ProgramPersonal device stipend and Chuze-provided technologyEngaging and dynamic work environment with growth opportunitiesYour Skills:Requirements:High school graduate or equivalent7+ years of experience in a MEP trade, journeyman, or building engineer (may be supplemented with technical school education)Previous experience working within a CMMS with working knowledge of BMS / EMS control systemsWorking knowledge of commercial HVAC, Electrical / Lighting, and MEP systemsExcellent analytical problem-solvingStrong attention to detail and multitasking skillsTeam-based mentality with the capacity to receive and deliver feedbackExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsMust have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, with regular ability to visit clubs across the assigned district (subject to ADA accommodation)Physical Abilities:Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in EnglishAbility to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipmentAbility to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when neededAbility to work in a loud environment, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oilDue to the nature of this role, the selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
