Behavioral Health Technician - Day Shift

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Behavioral Health Technician role located in the Greater Phoenix Area. The Behavioral Health Technician will support adult residents in their daily routines, monitor behaviors, and help implement individualized behavioral health plans. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting observations, responding to behavioral crises using approved interventions, and maintaining a safe, dignified environment. The role also involves collaborating with clinicians and other team members, engaging residents in therapeutic and skill-building activities, and communicating clearly with the care team to support progress toward treatment goals. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis to support the implementation of structured behavioral plans. Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Candidates should possess skills in Behavioral Intervention and a foundational understanding of Psychology to respond appropriately to behavioral needs and support recovery. Experience in residential, behavioral health, or mental health settings is preferred. Ability to maintain professional boundaries, manage stressful situations, and uphold safety and confidentiality standards. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in behavioral health or mental health technology is a plus.
