Your Role at Baxter

In the Quality Technician role, you will support manufacturing and assembly operations by ensuring product quality and smooth production flow. You’ll manage nonconforming materials, including their removal, transfer, and rework, while performing final quality inspections, documentation reviews, and product release activities.

You’ll work alongside a cross-functional team of quality professionals, engineers, and production personnel dedicated to maintaining high standards across manufacturing operations. This team collaborates closely with MRB, PQE, and SQE groups to ensure product quality, compliance, and continuous improvement. Together, you’ll help deliver safe, reliable products that make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support to the manufacturing/assembly operations as required.
• Responsible for removal and transfer of nonconforming material from production/assembly areas to MRB
• Perform final QC checks of finished devices, labeling, device history record documentation and final release of the products manufactured at the Charleston (Ladson) facility.
• Supports the non-conforming Material process via material movements, sorting & rework as needed
• Collaborates with MRB for the material disposal
• Give feedback on quality to management, engineers, technicians, and production personnel
• Perform SAP and SAGE/MAS material transactions
• Assist with receiving inspections as needed
• Supports PQE and SQE as needed (First Article Inspection, SCAR, and SNAP activities)

What You'll Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $43,200 - $54,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
