Locum Breast Imaging Radiologist needed

Job Description

Our organization is in search of a Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide locum coverage in Illinois. Here are some key details:

• Looking for coverage in week-long blocks, on a monthly and ongoing basis.
• Opportunity to offer multiple weeks each month.
• A standard workweek runs from Monday to Friday, typically from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
• Focus will be exclusively on Breast Imaging.
• The primary need is for 3D screenings and diagnostic services.
• Experience with procedures is advantageous.
• While Breast MRI and procedures are optional, having these skills is a plus.
• Breast Imaging specialists maintain a strong collaborative relationship with breast surgery faculty, co-located for patient convenience.
• Work involves batched screenings.
• Utilization of Hologic equipment and MagView tracking and reporting software.
• Powerscribe is used for diagnostics and procedures.
• Fellowship training is required unless you have extensive experience in exclusive breast imaging prior to the prevalence of fellowships.
• Open to considering a Locum-to-Perm arrangement for interested candidates.
