Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator & Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team at our pillow manufacturing plant. In this role, you will support warehouse operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, materials, and products within the facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials, while also performing various warehouse tasks related to inventory management, product storage, and order fulfillment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting relationships, work assignments, and work schedules may be subject to change in order to meet company needs and business requirements. Duties include:

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move raw materials, finished pillow products, and equipment within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage.
• Organize and stack products in a way that ensures easy access and inventory control.
• Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Maintain proper documentation related to materials moved, stock levels, and inventory adjustments.

• Assist with the unloading, receiving, and storing of raw materials for production.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, track product movement, and monitor stock levels.
• Assist with order picking and packing, ensuring products are ready for shipment to customers.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Work with the team to meet production goals, deadlines, and company standards.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to address any inventory or operational concerns.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, ensuring the safe operation of equipment and adherence to company policies.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Participate in safety training sessions and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Education and/or Experience:

· Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Experience:

• Prior experience operating forklifts or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Experience with inventory systems and order fulfillment is a plus.

· Certifications: Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within a specified time).

· Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.

Language Skills:

Strong communicator with ability to express point of view with confidence.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. .

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
