Our mission is to unify internal and external tooling into a single, best-in-class toolset that benefits everyone.You WillWork on various internal and external tools for Roblox game developersDefine architecture and implement reusable tooling frameworksDesign and execute on the architecture and technical direction that will be the future of our applicationOwn and deliver complex technical projects from the planning stage through executionWork cross functionally, across teams and technology platformsParticipate in building the world's best professional application for massively multiplayer game developmentYou Have2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering high-quality production code.Coding Proficiency: Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., C++, C#, Lua).Problem-Solving Skills: A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms, with an aptitude for debugging complex issues.Education: A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or a related engineering field.Please note the Company may not be able to employ candidates who have United States work authorization related to certain U.S. visa categories, or support future F-1 or H-1B sponsorship at this time.For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
