Marketing AssistantSCS Engineers in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team that supports our growing Upper Midwest offices. We are looking for a team player who is detail oriented, can take direction, work independently, and have the ability to adapt to evolving priorities. Applicants should be proficient in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, and possess excellent proofreading skills. This position has a hybrid schedule which includes in-office days and remote work.ResponsibilitiesEvent Marketing: Support event marketing, client meetings, and prospect outreach activities that support client relationships and new business development effortsHelp coordinate the marketing presence at campus recruiting eventsHelp purchase, store and track an inventory of promotional items and giveaways for eventsProposal Development: Assist with proposal development and client communications by organizing materials, proofreading content, and helping prepare final documentsMaintain marketing resources that go into proposals, including staff resumes and project profiles so teams have accurate, current toolsSales Funnel Tracking: Support existing project and new sales tracking by entering information in our CRM, updating records, and helping keep internal systems organizedCustomer Feedback: Help coordinate client feedback, follow-up activities, and routine communications that support service quality and continuous improvementEmail Marketing: Prepare reports, prospect and customer emails, announcements, and other communications that help keep teams and clients informedMarketing Plan Development & Execution: Support annual and monthly marketing planning, association memberships, advertising, seasonal communications, and recurring business deadlinesTracking Marketing Results: Help track and report effectiveness and ROI of marketing plan tacticsImprove team efficiency by maintaining templates, checklists, organized records, and clear follow-up processesComplete other marketing and business administration responsibilities as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or Marketing preferredMinimum of 1 year of administrative experience required, work in a marketing and/or sales environment preferredProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointProficiency with Adobe AcrobatExperience with artificial intelligence tools (Microsoft Copilot) is a plusAbility to work cooperatively with others and manage deadlinesAbility to communicate orally and with written communication requiredValid Driver's License requiredPay RangeUSD $20.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.Additional InformationPlease note that our pay ranges are determined by several factors, including relevant experience, internal pay equity, and location.
