Pediatric Urologist - Academic and Community Role

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Urologist who has completed a fellowship in Pediatric Urology. This position is part of our well-established academic urology practice located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completion of an accredited Pediatric Urology Fellowship through the appropriate AUA/SPU pathway is essential.

This role presents a unique chance to join a pediatric urology practice with nearly 40 years of service in the area, while also leveraging the academic resources and resident support from LSU Health Shreveport , along with the operational efficiency, compensation, and infrastructure provided by Regional Urology.

Key Features of the Position:

• Starting salary of $600,000 with performance incentives that can exceed $800,000 in the first year for Board-Eligible/Certified Urologists.

• Access to an established patient base and referral network in pediatric urology.

• Flexible shared on-call schedule with primary call managed by residents.

• Collaboration with 7 urologists, 7 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and 10 urology residents.

• Support from residents for inpatient care.

Position Details:

• Combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

• Access to da Vinci Xi robotic systems.

• Dedicated surgical block time is available.

• Access to a dedicated pediatric inpatient unit.

• Collaboration with pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, and anesthesia/sedation specialists.

• Support from pediatric nursing and critical care teams.

• Level II Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) available.

• Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) available.

• Unique dedicated urology-specific Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) featuring 3 full operating rooms.

• Clinic, procedure rooms, and operating rooms located within the same facility.

• Efficient workflow and turnover processes.
