Maintenance Technician

Seeking a Mechanical Technician to support the operation and reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment in a production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment by observing operation and using measuring and testing instruments.
• Dismantle equipment and replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic systems, and production machinery.
• Unload hazardous materials to designated storage vessels.
• Monitor equipment, parts, and supply inventories and identify replenishment needs.
• Provide mechanical maintenance support and respond to maintenance requests.
• Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work, issues, and ongoing needs.
• Communicate maintenance activities, irregularities, and continuing needs with team members.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with established procedures and regulations.

Requirements:

• General mechanical maintenance experience and knowledge.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Basic grinding, cutting, and brazing skills.
• Basic wiring, pipe fitting, and small motor repair knowledge.
• Familiarity with hot work permitting and lockout/tagout procedures.
