Registered Nurse-Operating Room- 36 Hours - Weekend nights

Join a high performing OR team at Henry Ford West Bloomfield, home to 15 modern operating rooms and a wide range of surgical specialties. RNs support cases in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Neuro, Plastics, ENT, GYN/Urology, General, Vascular, Thoracic, and Spine—offering strong variety and skill growth. The unit is highly advanced, featuring four robotic systems, including DaVinci platforms for General, GYN, Urology, and Colorectal surgery, plus the ROSA robot for Orthopedics. You’ll work with innovative technology across nearly all service lines, excluding cardiac and transplant. This is an ideal environment for RNs who thrive in a fast paced OR and want exposure to complex cases, teamwork, and cutting‑edge surgical care. General Summary Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, document care, and teach patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Acts as a patient advocate while utilizing the nursing process to plan, deliver, and evaluate goal‑focused, individualized, safe, age‑specific care for all patients, including those with complex pathophysiological and/or psychosocial needs. Education and Experience BSN preferred. Previous OR RN experience required. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Certifications and Licensures Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
