MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor 's Degree in Education (Adult Education preferred), or related field.Valid New Mexico Teaching License in Secondary, Alternative Education, or Adult Education, with endorsements as applicable. Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement preferred. Two years experience as an Adult Educator, Parent Educator, Liaison, or related field preferred. Two years experience working with FACE (Family And Child Education) preferred.Must have or obtain -First Aid/CPR/AED certification for infant/child/adultNavajo Nation Food Handler's permitBilingual in Dine & English preferred.Must be able to meet minimum physical requirements: sitting, standing, lifting, carrying (up to 50 lbs), reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving light furniture may be required.Must have valid state-issued driver's license.**MUST be able to pass background checks for New Mexico state, Navajo Nation, and FBI prior to employment.SASI is a Tribally Controlled school under the Bureau of Indian Education located on the Navajo Nation in Shiprock, NMFor more information, please contact View email address on us.fitly.work Associated Schools, Inc. is currently not accepting any foreign sponsorships.NAVAJO PREFERENCE:Preferential consideration for employment will be given to people of documented Navajo tribal membership who meet the qualifications above, in accordance with the requirements of the Navajo Preference in Employment Act.
