Job Summary/Description:

As a Master Control Operator youll be responsible for the continuous uninterrupted operation of on-air broadcast streams and digital subchannels. Operating in a 24/7 broadcast environment with flexibility to work nights weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities include monitoring broadcast feeds; audio/video quality checking of syndication and commercials; switching and playing out programs commercials and promos; maintaining logs and following timing of on-air programming; running audio for newscasts; coordinating with production traffic and engineering teams; and responding to equipment signal or schedule issues.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; broadcast media or electronics coursework is a plus.
Strong attention to detail multitasking and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Basic computer and troubleshooting skills; familiarity with broadcast automation audio/video equipment and signal monitoring is helpful.
Clear communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work nights weekends & holidays
