Electrical Engineer - Delivery

SLB is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Measurement team in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electronic hardware and embedded systems supporting the Caldon product line and other Measurement technologies. You will lead technical activities across the product lifecycle, from concept and design through validation, manufacturing support, and sustaining engineering.We are looking for an engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. The successful candidate will combine strong hardware design expertise with a hands-on approach to testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain electronic hardware, including analog and digital circuits, high-speed PCBs, embedded firmware, and FPGA-based solutions.Create and manage schematics, PCB layouts, and design documentation using Altium Designer and Altium 365.Evaluate, validate, and implement component changes while ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and environmental requirements.Develop test methodologies, conduct product verification activities, and analyze results to ensure product performance and reliability.Troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic systems using industry-standard laboratory equipment and root cause analysis techniques.Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support product industrialization.Review nonconformances, determine corrective actions, and drive resolution of quality and performance concerns.Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to technicians and engineering team members, while participating in design and technical reviews.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 8 years of experience in electronic hardware design and product development.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, including signal conditioning, filtering, microprocessors, memory devices, and FPGA technologies.Experience designing and routing high-speed printed circuit boards with consideration for thermal performance and manufacturability.Proficiency in embedded firmware development using C and C++.Experience developing FPGA solutions using VHDL and Altera-based platforms.Working knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and testing methodologies.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Proficiency with laboratory instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is considered an asset.Experience with ultrasonic metering, hazardous location certifications, metrology approvals, or industrial measurement products is preferred.Experience with PCB design/layout tools, preferably Altium/A365.ALL APPLICANTS FOR U.S. ROLES MUST CAREFULLY READ ALL THE SUPPLEMENTAL U.S. SPECIFIC INFORMATION LISTED BELOW.SLB is committed to a culture where everyone feels like they belong.
