Job Description A certified medication aide (CNA) is responsible for administering daily medication to patients in a hospital or medical facility. Also referred to as medical aide technicians, duties include monitoring patients, reporting changes, and collecting samples. The medication aide must be detail‑oriented and have in‑depth knowledge of patient care procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Weekly pay is scaled based on estimated hourly wages and potential stipends for the assignment location. Hourly wages are based on factors such as experience, demand, availability, and location.
