Pediatric Psychology RN position in Louisville, Kentucky. This role involves caring for pediatric patients within a specialized mental health unit, including managing escalated behaviors, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification obtained on site, and at least 6 months of relevant experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with pediatric patients displaying behavioral or trauma-related issues is preferred.
• Float: Float rotation may be required; ability to float within various units and adapt to schedule and shift changes.
• Additional Information: Orientation includes facility and unit-specific training over three 12-hour shifts. Weekend rotation occurs every third weekend. No on-call responsibilities. RTO approval requires a request at least 5 days in advance. Uniform scrub color is Galaxy Blue. Parking is free.
