UI Developer The UI Developer will work closely with the rest of the product development team in designing and building new capabilities and platforms for Prime Brokerage Optimize. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a small team of developers in a fast paced and highly ambiguous environment working with emerging and new technologies, high risks and uncertainty. The Expertise You Have Experience working directly with product & design teams Experience in building user interfaces using Angular 8+/CSS/HTML5/Backbone/Jquery/Bootstrap/JSON and other relevant JavaScript frameworks Experience with OAuth, REST and SOAP protocols Deep knowledge of web standards, YAML, micro-services, W3C specifications Knowledge of container & serverless architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Lambda) Experience with CI/CD, built CI/CD tools and pipelines including but not limited to Jenkins, Concourse, uDeploy Knowledge of Test Driven and Domain Driven Development (TDD / DDD), including using automated test frameworks (e.g. JUnit) Exposure to Node.js /NPM/CLI/Grunt/Gulp experience preferred The Skills You Bring You have the skills to take initiative and the self-motivation to get results. You are proficient with Javascript & Typescript and functional programming including but not limited to Ag-Grid, HighCharts You are an experienced user of one or more Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jira). You are experienced with Cyber Security guidelines and building secure code integrating with static/dynamic scan You have experience with OAuth/JWT and security standard methodologies You have experience integrating with 3rd party vendors using API You have experience in migrating frameworks and ability to have them co-exist You have experience in designing mockups and prototypes for time to market solutions The Value You Deliver Hands-on UI software engineer who brings considerable experience with application-layer development for web applications, using a broad range of technologies. Responsible for building user interfaces primarily for web applications but device agnostic (Angular or other relevant frontend frameworks) Ability to debug and fix sophisticated web applications and deliver solutions on the fly Collaborate with off-shore development team Conduct demos, participate in technical reviews and drive excellence.
