PROGRAM SPECIALIST SUPPORT - the district employs program specialists to provide a high level of support to all special education teachers, especially those new to the district PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - The district provides specific professional development for new special education teachers before the school year begins. This professional development covers evaluations, IEP writing, case management, behavior intervention, and more. In-building Departments and Support - new special education teachers join a team within a building. They are supported by veteran teachers and staff!
