Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (06:45 - 15:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab. Experience with procedures such as cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and interventional catheterizations. Ability to monitor and manage procedural sedation. Competence in IV therapy and emergency medications. Description: Responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a cardiac cath lab setting. Perform a variety of invasive cardiac procedures. Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-operative care. Administer medications and manage IV therapy. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in patient education and support activities. Maintain a safe and sterile environment during procedures. Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac diagnostics and interventions. Ensure compliance with infection control policies and protocols. Utilize appropriate monitoring equipment and technology during procedures. Assist with the management of cardiac devices and specialty equipment. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families. Stay updated on current best practices and advancements in cardiac care.
