Real Estate Investment Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented investment analyst associate to join our real estate team. The candidate will work in a team environment to analyze and support our mixed-use redevelopment projects, new commercial and multifamily investment opportunities, our existing and substantial commercial portfolio, and other special projects. Responsibilities Develop and maintain comprehensive cash flow, valuation, portfolio roll-up models, and other analytical tools (utilizing Argus Enterprise and Excel, as appropriate) to: (a) evaluate prospective investments including redevelopment projects, and (b) support investment and asset management decisions for the existing portfolio. Gather and analyze market data and trends to track and assess market conditions, comparable projects, market risk, and new opportunities. Stay updated on local and target market dynamics. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify, screen, underwrite (market and financial), diligence, and close new commercial and multifamily investment opportunities across the capital stack. Prepare asset and portfolio recommendations (analyses, memorandums, presentations, decks, etc.) for senior management, investment committee, and the board of directors. Support the asset management team with (a) monitoring the performance of existing assets; (b) evaluating property-level operating strategies, lease proposals, and capital improvement projects; and (c) the annual budgeting, reforecasting, and quarterly valuation processes. Complete ad hoc requests, special projects, and additional responsibilities as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, economics, finance, real estate, or related field preferred. Minimum three to five years of experience in a real estate analyst role at an investment firm, developer, investment sales broker, or other investment/financial institution. Specific experience with office, industrial, and multifamily asset classes a plus. Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrated knowledge of fundamental concepts used in real estate capital markets including real estate debt and equity structures and metrics. Significant financial modeling experience with advanced knowledge of Excel, Argus Enterprise, and other relevant tools. Skilled at using AI to draft, summarize, and analyze information with attention to accuracy and data integrity. Able to write effective prompts, build reusable templates, and translate business questions into clear inputs and outputs for reporting and AI -assisted workflows. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple, concurrent work streams within tight time schedules. Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to articulate information, analysis, and conclusions to support decisions and solutions. Sound judgement, high levels of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions. Must be able to work on site consistently during normal business hours, Monday through Friday. This position is not eligible for remote work. Occasional travel. Compensation and Benefits In addition to base salary there is a performance-based bonus structure. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000. The actual base salary offered will be dependent upon the applicant’s experience and qualifications, as well as other job-related factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, education, certifications or other professional licenses held.
