HVAC Engineer

Mechanical Engineer Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year Job Details As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for: Overseeing the design and implementation of HVAC systems for various types of buildings, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and standards. Conducting detailed load calculations and energy modeling for HVAC systems. Reviewing design plans and construction documents to ensure accuracy and completeness. Leading and managing HVAC-related projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with other team members and stakeholders. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed 2‑B / 3‑D models and drawings of HVAC systems. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to HVAC design and installation. Keeping up‑to‑date with the latest HVAC technologies and industry trends, and incorporating them into your work as appropriate. Collaborating closely with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure the successful completion of projects. Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus. A minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on HVAC design. Experience with restaurant, retail, hospitality, commercial, or entertainment venues is preferred. Strong skills in load calculation of HVAC systems. Proficiency with AutoCAD and a basic understanding of Revit. Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC issues.
