Accounting Clerk
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented accounting clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations during a period of system implementation and increased departmental workload. This role will assist with investment transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, and other accounting functions to help maintain operational continuity.
- Record investment transactions into investment software and reconcile activity to custodian and investment manager statements.
- Prepare journal entries for monthly and quarterly general ledger activity.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and supporting Excel schedules related to foundation investments.
- Maintain transaction templates to facilitate year-end uploads.
- Perform quarterly reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Review and reconcile financial transactions for accuracy.
- Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests.
- Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets for the Accounting Office.
- Assist with reporting and other accounting-related operational needs as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience.
- Experience preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Duration: approximately 7 months
Shift Days/Times: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
