Contract RN - Telemetry (7S)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required.

We are seeking a skilled RN for our Telemetry unit (7S). The ideal candidate will manage a patient ratio of 1:6, and potentially 1:5, providing direct care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The assignments require proficiency in telemetry and Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing telemetry equipment.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
• Document patient care and outcomes in the EMR system (MediTech).
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to ongoing education and professional development.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN License in the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Med/Surg experience is a must; Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and TNCC certifications are a plus.
