Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) in Fort Dodge, IA

Key Responsibilities
Conduct home visits to provide occupational therapy services and perform ongoing interdisciplinary assessments of patients.
Evaluate and assess patients' functional levels using appropriate standardized tests and clinical tools.
Develop individualized occupational therapy procedures and functional activity plans in accordance with physician-directed plans of treatment.
Create and administer plans of treatment, including environmental modifications to support patient independence.
Oversee the use of treatment modalities, prosthetic devices, and therapeutic appliances.
Collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Occupational Therapist education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or successor organizations.
Active Iowa Occupational Therapist license

or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice.
Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification

required.
Valid driver's license and automobile insurance meeting state and organizational requirements.
Mandatory Reporter certification for Child & Dependent Adult Abuse.
Minimum of one year of experience caring for a similar patient population.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Successful completion of the entry-level certification examination for Occupational Therapists administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT).
Prior experience in a home health setting.
Strong ability to build therapeutic relationships and deliver patient-centered care across diverse populations.
