Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Complete as needed inspections in the 5 boroughs while also completing office work
• Overall management of the special inspections team which includes Inspectors, Schedulers and Project Managers
• Ensure project management procedures are followed and carried out by assigned Project Managers
• Ensure that qualified inspectors are dispatched for special inspections, and they properly document their activities in reports
• Help with the special inspections schedule on daily basis
• Review the inspection reports and issue the reports to the client
• Prepare and help with the invoices on monthly basis
• Complete and submit TRs Sign off in DOBnow
• Prepare the inspection logs on weekly basis
• This position will be hybrid (between site inspection and office work)

Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of experience conducting Special Inspections and managing a team
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required
• ICC or CWI Certifications required
• Familiarity with technical aspects of inspections
• Experience working with DOBnow and signing off TRs
• Experience with project closeout
