What You'll Be Doing

• Conducting thorough assessments of patient health, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and crafting tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Providing education for patients and their families on health promotion, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing medications and implementing therapies in accordance with your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care needs
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Documenting all interactions diligently in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Missouri
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or applicable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
