• Lead a team of regulatory compliance specialists that manage the end-to-end investigation process for regulatory correspondences and Voluntary Self Disclosures (VSDs) to identify contributing factors and drive innovative, system-wide solutions
• Ensure?all investigations?identify root?causes, contributing factors,?and systemic risks impacting aircraft airworthiness?and operational compliance
• Oversee the development and submission?of formal?regulatory?responses to?agencies such as the FAA,?ensuring accuracy,?completeness, and adherence to company?and?regulatory?standards
• Work with CASS?to analyze operational?and?compliance?data to?detect trends, validate?non-compliance, and identify opportunities?for corrective and preventive?action
• Drive?implementation of?system-wide corrective actions and establish monitoring mechanisms to?ensure?sustained compliance
• Serve as the?primary?liaison with regulatory?authorities?(FAA,?DOT, TSA,?EPA) for airworthiness-related compliance matters
• Partner?cross-functionally?with?Technical?Operations, Engineering,?Quality Assurance, and?Flight?Operations to?ensure?alignment on compliance expectations and?corrective solutions
• Deliver executive-level briefings on?investigation outcomes,?risk exposure, and?compliance trends
• Promote a strong safety and?compliance culture through collaboration,?transparency,?and?continuous improvement?initiatives

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in aviation, engineering,?safety, or?related field (or?equivalent experience)
• Minimum?of?5 years of aviation experience with exposure to?airworthiness,?maintenance, or regulatory?compliance
• Experience supporting or managing regulatory investigations and?agency?correspondence

Preferred Qualifications Education & Prior Job Experience

• Advanced degree in aviation,?safety, engineering,?or?related field
• Familiar?with?14 CFR (Parts 91, 121, 145,?etc.)?and airworthiness regulations
• Experience with FAA regulatory processes, including?VSD?programs?and enforcement actions
• Experience?working?in unionized environments (IAM/TWU)
• FAA?Airframe & Powerplant?(A&P) License
