Location(s) Slayton or Tracy, MN Job Summary The agent is accountable for performing and coordinating a variety of insurance operations activities that serve agency clients’ best interests and contribute to the growth and profitability of the organization. Primary duties include providing support to the Market Manager with administrative assignments and representing the agency with superior customer‑service standards. Duties and Responsibilities Represent the agency in the sale of all insurance products and services, process all policy endorsements, and maintain agency billing and deposits. Assist customers with necessary paperwork and answer and resolve any questions regarding insurance products and services. Identify prospects, market and sell multiple insurance products—crop, home, life, auto, mortgage, etc.—and write and secure new policies. Maintain and update existing insurance programs to provide favorable coverage, cost terms, and claim settlements for a variety of types of insurance. Call clients to review, renew, or sell additional coverage if needed and obtain referral business. Minimum Requirements High school diploma. 2+ years of customer service/sales experience. Proficiency with office products, Teams, and customer‑service skills. Preferred Qualifications Property & Casualty insurance license prior to hire date with expectation of obtaining Life & Health licenses within three months of hire. Experience with Agency Management Systems. Schedule Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Workplace Environment Requires face‑to‑face interaction and coordination of work with other employees and departments. Working at a computer and utilizing a telephone. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. May involve travel for trainings or meetings. Salary Range $45,000 annual base + commission and bonus opportunity. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first.
