Job Title: Material Handler - Kitting

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 / hour

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler - Kitting to join our warehouse/logistics team. In this role, you will perform a variety of essential logistics, inventory control, and stock preparation duties to ensure continuous production and seamless warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Kit Preparation: Prepare stock kits for production departments, verify parts/counts, and document any shortages.
• Receiving & Sorting: Receive incoming materials, inspect goods against documentation for completeness and accuracy, and sort stock, raw materials, or subassemblies.
• Inventory Control: Issue materials, supplies, and components from stock. Monitor shortage statuses, backorder files, and inventory reports.
• Logistics & Delivery: Interface with internal departments (Production, Quality, Engineering) and external shipping partners/trucking companies. Load, unload, ship, or deliver items as needed.
• Documentation: Keep accurate documentation and prepare activity reports following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education / Experience: High School Diploma/GED OR a minimum of 2+ years of Material Handling experience.
• Equipment Experience: Previous Forklift experience preferred (specifically Stand-Up Reach Forklift).
• Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency, including experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), MSL (Moisture Sensitivity Level), and raw electronic components is a strong plus.

• Availability: Flexible to work required hours and shifts, including overtime as needed.
  

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to handle panels, boards, and small electronic components with steady hands and dexterity.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs .
