This role offers the opportunity to build strong clinical skills while making a visible difference in a critical access hospital environment where every team member is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care and contribute to the nursing process by collecting data, assisting with assessments, and supporting individualized care plans across all age groups within the scope of the LPN licenseDeliver safe, high-quality care through accurate medication administration, IV therapy support, documentation, and adherence to established policies and protocolsSupport patient and family education by reinforcing teaching plans, evaluating understanding, and documenting care appropriatelyCollaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team while supporting LNAs and contributing to efficient unit operations and patient flowRequired QualificationsGraduate of an approved School of Practical Nursing. New graduates are encouraged to apply!Currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program, or willing to enroll and progress toward RN completion within two years.Current Vermont Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license requiredCurrent BLS certification from the American Heart Association requiredOne year of acute care experience preferredStrong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbout NVRHNortheastern Vermont Regional Hospital is located in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom.
