We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team. This is a small animal cat and dog practice in the suburbs 30 minutes southwest of downtown Hartford, Connecticut. In addition to wellness and preventive care, the state-of-the-art facility offers advanced dental care, dermatology, digital radiology, echocardiography, EKG, feline hyperthyroidism, OFA X-ray, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, tonopen, ultrasound, and more.

The ideal candidate possesses an energetic, team-oriented attitude with an interest in collaborating with colleagues. They can maintain excellent communication with staff and clients, with the ability to discuss various treatment options. Interest in surgery, dentistry, and/or daytime emergency is a plus. Work alongside extremely experienced and friendly staff with a variety of cases from wellness and preventative medicine to advanced surgery and dentistry.

Compensation/Benefits: Competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid parental, vacation, and sick leave, CE allowance and paid CE days, generous employee pet discounts, and more. (Compensation: $100,000 – $150,000. Compensation may be negotiable).
