12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

The Licensed Respiratory Therapist will function under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor, providing basic cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas. Advanced patient care responsibilities and duties may also be assigned as deemed appropriate by the director or supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent and compassionate respiratory care to patients.
• Utilize Epic for patient documentation and charting.
• Assist in advanced cardiac life support interventions as necessary.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including scrub color and hygiene standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Licensed Respiratory Therapist, registered with the board for respiratory care.
• Certification as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC required.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Prior experience using the Epic electronic health record system.
• Must provide a copy of the candidate's unexpired driver's license with submission.
• Candidates must disclose any licensing hits at the time of submission.
