Senior Litigation Specialist - Coastal RestorationLouisiana, California, Nationwide - Regular Full-TimeAs the Senior Litigation Specialist, you will be responsible for providing senior level litigation expertise for the Coastal Restoration business. This role plays a key role in our coastal restoration technical excellence group and plays a key role in business development.About the RoleProvide senior-level expertise for coastal restoration projects throughout True Environmental, providing direction on project design, planning, and execution.Support expert witness testimony in federal and state proceedings involving coastal processes and restoration.Interface with multidisciplinary project teams to integrate coastal restoration expertise across environmental, engineering, and regulatory service lines.Review and approve technical deliverables including reports, plans, and regulatory submissions.Prepare and review expert reports, rebuttal documents, and technical memoranda for litigation and regulatory proceedings.Provide technical leadership on coastal restoration issues.Present findings clearly to legal, regulatory, and non-technical audiences.Drive strategic business development efforts, including large pursuits, partnerships, and emerging markets.Lead business development efforts through proposal development, scope development and presentations to clients.Provide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise.Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals.Mentor and provide technical training to junior and intermediate team members.Foster a high-performing, inclusive team culture by modelling company values, setting clear expectations, and developing an environment of trust, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.All other duties as required.About YouBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Hydrology, Geology, Coastal Science, Environmental Science, Ecology or a related field.10+ years of previous experience working in environmental consulting and A/E/C with focus on coastal restoration.Demonstrated experience in litigation support on environmental cases.A high level of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and commitment to environmental sustainabilityProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other business softwareStrong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels$125,000 - $200,000 a yearAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
