Portfolio Manager

We are seeking a Portfolio Manager to join our community bank team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys credit analysis, portfolio management, and working closely with commercial lenders and business customers. The successful candidate will step into an established commercial loan portfolio and play a key role in maintaining strong credit quality and supporting customer relationships. This position does not have sales goals, allowing you to focus on credit, risk management, and portfolio performance. Responsibilities Manage and monitor an existing commercial loan portfolio. Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and credit risk. Prepare credit presentations, annual reviews, and loan renewals. Work closely with lenders to structure and underwrite commercial loan requests. Identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions. Maintain strong asset quality and ensure compliance with bank policies. Qualifications Experience in commercial credit analysis, underwriting, or portfolio management. Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and cash flow. Ability to manage multiple relationships and credit requests. Strong attention to detail and communication skills. Exposure to agricultural lending, agribusiness, or production agriculture is a plus, but candidates with strong commercial credit experience from other industries are encouraged to apply.
