About the Opportunity

We are hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians for a well-established mechanical contractor serving commercial and institutional customers throughout the DFW area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys troubleshooting, diagnosing problems, working independently, and taking ownership of service calls .

This is commercial HVAC . We are looking for technicians who have worked on larger commercial systems and are comfortable interacting professionally with customers, facility personnel, and other trades in the field.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial HVAC systems
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and service calls
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls-related HVAC issues
• Inspect equipment and identify necessary repairs or system concerns
• Repair or replace HVAC components as needed
• Work with rooftop units, split systems, packaged equipment, air-handling equipment, and other commercial HVAC systems
• Accurately document service work, findings, repairs, and recommended follow-up
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions and repairs
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle
• Follow company safety procedures and proper industry practices
• Work independently while communicating effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial HVAC service experience required
• Strong HVAC diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Experience servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment
• Strong understanding of refrigeration and HVAC operating principles
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components and read wiring diagrams
• Preventative maintenance and repair experience
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Dependable, professional, and customer-service oriented
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of commercial HVAC service work

Strongly Preferred

• EPA certification
• Commercial rooftop unit experience
• Air handlers / packaged units
• Refrigeration troubleshooting
• Electrical troubleshooting
• HVAC controls experience
• Experience servicing equipment in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, educational, or institutional facilities
