Charge Nurse (RN)

Raleigh General Hospital, a comprehensive community hospital in Beckley, West Virginia, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and support on our nursing unit. In this role, you will balance direct patient care with oversight of daily operations, helping to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient care for the patients we serve. As the Charge Nurse, you will coordinate staffing and patient assignments based on acuity and census, act as a clinical resource to bedside nurses and support staff, and promote effective teamwork across the healthcare disciplines. You will perform and oversee patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, and support complex care planning and discharge coordination. Working closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, you will help drive communication, maintain regulatory and hospital standards, and support quality and safety initiatives.
