Overview

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including triage, initial assessment, ongoing monitoring, and treatment planning
- Administer medications and IV therapies, obtain and interpret clinical data, and coordinate timely interventions
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record; communicate care plans with the multidisciplinary team
- Respond to emergencies, perform life-saving interventions as needed, and maintain patient safety and comfort
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with nursing colleagues, physicians, and support staff to maintain efficient patient flow in a fast-paced environment

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Minimum 1 year of ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work night shift and adapt to a fast-paced hospital setting
- Willingness to participate in credentialing processes and submit required documentation in batches as directed by the facility and agency
- Flexibility to meet credentialing and compliance requirements as part of the assignment
