Position Overview

Our organization is currently seeking a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator specializing in Transplant Hepatology, at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, within the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. The role involves delivering exceptional clinical care in a dynamic hepatology transplant practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care in both transplant hepatology, which includes pre- and post-transplant evaluations and management, as well as general hepatology in outpatient settings.
• Serve a diverse and complex patient population.
• Engage actively in medical education, mentoring transplant hepatology and gastroenterology fellows, as well as internal medicine residents.
• Contribute to a vibrant academic environment focused on nurturing the next generation of specialists.
• Encourage clinical research and quality improvement initiatives, leveraging the robust infrastructure and mentorship available to support academic and scholarly growth.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess an MD and hold board certifications in both Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology.

Position Details

The start date for this role is flexible, and the position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $340,000 to $440,000.

This salary range reflects our organization's good faith estimate of the compensation expected for this role. The final salary offered will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, years since obtaining their terminal degree, training, departmental budget, internal comparisons, and external market rates for similar positions.
