Pay Range: $116,168.00 - $189,550.40
The certified nurse midwife assumes management responsibility of a caseload of obstetrical and gynecological patients selected according to midwifery practice protocols. This position assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care of patients, and supports and promotes a positive image of midwifery, obstetrical care and Olympic Medical Center.
Education: Graduate of a Nurse Midwifery program and certified by WA State OR Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree.
Experience: Two years of experience in nurse midwifery preferred. Antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and well woman care experience preferred. C-section first assist experience preferred.
Licensure/Credentials:
- Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP with prescriptive authority in Washington State OR
- Current Washington State PA-C Licensure and prescriptive authority.
- Current DEA registration required.
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire
- Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
- Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.
